Shall be a U.S. citizen, possess minimum of a Top Secret security clearance.
Must possess a Security + certification.
Must possess a minimum of five years work experience in the IA profession. Working knowledge of NMCI ordering/NET processes desired.
Assist the IAM in developing a POA&M to establish and implement a command wide IA policy.
Ensure that all users have the requisite security clearances and supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IA responsibilities before being granted access to a DoD information system.
In coordination with the IAM, initiate protective or corrective measures when an IA incident or vulnerability is discovered.
Ensure that IA and IA-enabled software, hardware, and firmware comply with appropriate security configuration guidelines.
Ensure that DoD information system recovery processes are monitored and that IA features and procedures are properly restored.
Ensure that all DoD information system IA-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Implement and enforce all DoD information system IA policies and procedures, as defined by its security certification and accreditation.
The contractor shall provide technical support to the government and military staff in the setup and maintenance of computer accounts, trouble shoot and resolve issues with applications, account administration, printer and PC hardware and LAN connectivity.
Coordinate with the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) and Information Assurance Officer (IAO) on command information (IA) matters.
