Provide technical support to the government and military staff in the setup and maintenance of computer accounts and trouble shoot and resolve staff member issues with applications, account administration, printer and PC hardware peripherals and LAN connectivity.
Work with the government to design, implement and maintain web sites on both classified and unclassified networks to include uploading of content; assist the facilities team in the design, installation and maintenance of computer and information support equipment in a Mission Support Room; maintain and operate classified and unclassified VTC systems and coordinate with the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) on command information assurance (IA) matters.
Survey the government departments to determine data storage and manipulation requirements and design/implement interactive data bases serving both the Staff and external audiences as identified and authorized by the government.
Create and maintain electronic databases, to include loading of documents provided/identified by Department Heads, and conduct quarterly audits of the databases to remove any duplicate or outdated material.
Troubleshoot, isolate and resolve standalone and/or network issues related to command websites and interactive data bases. Coordinate with NMCI and other government organizations to resolve issues that cannot be resolved locally.
Provide multi-media graphics support to the command in support of command briefings, presentations and conferences. Plan and execute government sponsored meetings, seminars, public affairs opportunities and special events.
Provide on-site Administrative support as it relates to IT administrative matters and general office polices for approval. Anticipate and prepare materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc.; and informs designated representatives on matters to be considered.
Prepare special or one-time reports, documents, correspondence, other offices, etc under general directions.
Provide network communications and system support. Some work may be performed inside the Mission Support Room (MSR) or inside a SCIF for crisis operations using tools such as JWICS, SIPRNET, C2BMC, MIPs, Aegis Mission Planner, APEX, LMMT, GCCS, UNIX, etc.
Top Secret Security Clearance is required. This position is in Dahlgren, Virginia.
