The Veteran's Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) serves as VBA's principal business intelligence tool for strategic and operational performance, business process, and financial management. Grant Thornton designed and constructed an enterprise data warehouse (EDW) that satisfies VBA's need for business information critical in the decision-making process using an iterative system development life cycle that rolled out new features and enhancements in increments every 90 days.
Information Systems Development, Information Assurance, & Information Technology Support (Contract #DAAB07-03-D-B012)
The Navy Base Realignment and Closure Project Management Office Southwest (BRAC PMO) is in the middle of a 15 year, $3 billion effort to track and reassign more than 200,000 acres of former military installations. Grant Thornton provided the Navy BRAC PMO the ability to quickly answer data calls and for business users to create, customize, and display management reports. Our solution allows the knowledge workers to spend more time on proactive analysis and problem solving instead of trying to reactively find and summarize data to satisfy a data call.
